Hello and welcome to my shop! The ability to sit home and do arts and crafts all day has always been a dream of mine. Well, in reality I could never sit inside ALL day, maybe just rainy days  But I have always wanted to just do what I love and make a living at it. I have been doing arts and crafts all my life. Others include painting murals and faux finishing, making jewelry, and a little bit of knitting. I had seen some Capri Sun bags in the past and I saw one coffee bag purse and then it hit me. With all of the “green awareness” that has come about, I thought “what a great idea” I think I could pull that off. I used to sew, so I dusted off my sewing machine and starting asking around for bags. I then discovered FREECYCLE, and now that is where I get most of my bags from. I have been making these purses since 2007 and also sell them at local art shows. I currently work outside the home as well and have 3 year old twin girls and a 2 year old boy that keep me very busy! Basically this is an outlet after they go to bed! I get an “instant gratification” once I have created something- the average time a purse takes to make is about 45 minutes.
