First of all, thank you so much stopping by to look at my art!

I grew up with Art Awareness, from many members of my family. My mother taught oil painting and I was told as a child not to interrupt the class, sooo as a child I would walk in to speak with my mom but I would whisper because I thought then it was not interrupting. I was wrong. My Grandpa showed me the beauty during our walks. He would inspire questions in me as a very young child. He taught me things like NOT carrying mice in my pocket, to lying down in the hayfield (which is where I found the mouse in the 1st place!) and watching the shapes and movement of the clouds. Every walk every conversation was an awareness in natures miracles.

Growing up on a farm taught me many things, which led to becoming a veterinary technician and working with exotic animals. I also worked with midwifes and worked as a Doula (a doula is like a professional birthing coach, they don't assist in the actual delivery, or provide medical care.)

During the last 23 years or so, I have worked in the art of Pyrograph Gourds. Pyrograph Gourds is the art of burning a design into the gourd itself. These have been sold in Galleries and collected by private collectors in several countries. Now I find I need to work a medium that is not as strenuous on my hands. I will on occasion have Gourds for sale.
