About

Born and raised next to the Chesapeake Bay in Virginia, I grew up surrounded by woods, water, and nature’s creatures. From my father, I received an abiding respect for excellence in one’s craft: from my mother, a deep appreciation of beauty. At Colonial Williamsburg, we produced big, beautiful handmade silver vessels, both 18th Century designs and contemporary. I started my own studio in 1980 and am grateful to be doing something I love all these years. In 1989, I began a collection of pins that has grown to over 100 full production designs along with many styles of earrings to complement. This line is made of pewter and bronze, treated with oxides, plating, and special brush techniques.I am passionate about my art and craft and I celebrate the beauty and mystery of all God’s creatures.
