I make mostly metal clay and beaded jewelry with an ethnic flair, finding design inspiration from my travels and career as an Anthropologist. I am PMC Certified and have taken PMC & Bronzclay classes at Rio Grande Education in Motion in Albuquerque, New Mexico. i also took a wonderful Master Class from Holly Gage and Gordon Uyehara in Hawaii in 2013. I especially love working with BRONZclay and COPPRclay because of the surprising variations in patina that result from firing, along with it’s ancient feel. I have also begun to work with etched copper and brass with designs from petraglyphs from around the world as well as abstract designs.
