Welcome! Thanks for viewing my art. The personal stuff is below, so if you want to know more about me, scroll away, or you can start right here....
My policy is to please every customer. I'm an artist, not a salesman (Lord, thank you for that), but I do want your business, and I care very much what you think.
Buying art is a very big decision, especially with larger sizes, but if you're hesitant about buying from me, yet you love my work like so many do, please do me a favor. Tell me WHY you're not buying, so that I can have a chance to help, to improve what I do, and to hopefully provide you with a painting you'll love.. There's a lot going on with an Etsy shop, and it's easy to not realize it when you're missing something important, so that's why I'm asking for your input.
I don't sell anything to anyone, as my work has always sold itself, so do know I'm not pushy (Lord, thank you for that too). I just keep an open door. That way I know if I'm doing anything that leaves doubts, so I can clear them up on my end.
I have worked extremely hard for years to be the only place you'll find my style. It get's referred to as "amazing" (along with other very nice descriptive words) daily. I continue to bust my butt to make beautiful art ONLY to earn your trust and your business, so whatever the hesitation, is if there is one, I want to know about it.
Thanks so much for caring, as I wouldn't be here without you !!

THE PERSONAL STUFF
I believe that every artist has a deeply personal connection to their art in one way or another. My story is private, because I'm a very shy person, and that actually is the reason why i paint the way I do.
Suffice it to say I have known a lot of rejection, hatred and pain in my life. Everyone has, but I have had probably 20 times more than a "normal" person, basically since the day I was born. You can fill in the blanks as you wish, as again I won't disclose everything about myself in a public setting.
My art is about acceptance, and that is why I try so hard. My time has been spent clamoring for the love and acceptance of other people, and I continue to do that to this day.
Selling my art on Etsy is the only thing that's ever given me a feeling of having worth in this world, both with regard to others, and to myself as well. You see, when the world habitually rejects you, sooner or later you have to believe the world is right.
Etsy has given me a home to some point, and although I feel quite rejected as compared to others, seeing all the love and support they receive, I also feel validated as I know some don't sell at all. I'm right in the middle, and although I struggle every day to make it here, I do feel lucky and blessed, because I have no worth at all anywhere else.
So that's my story. it likely goes without saying how much your support means, as every sale is validation not just of my art, but of me as a person.
The creative drive is just in my blood, and goes back in my family roots for many generations. I was raised in an artistic household, and grew up at art shows up and down the East Coast, so I'm just doing what comes naturally to me. I started creating by age 3, and haven't stopped for even one day since.
THE GENERAL STUFF
Everything I create is about happiness, and the celebratory joy of living.
Every one of my pieces, and every aspect of my business is done with a ton of passion heart and dedication in every square inch and each movement. A ton of genuine love for what I do, along with a heart full of love and compassion to the people who enjoy it are contained in every piece.
I make sure your painting is ready to be hung right from the box, wired, varnished, perfected, thoroughly checked, shipped carefully by the best carrier, packed securely, insured, and sent with your signature required so it's handed to you, and not just left sitting on your porch..
Thanks for taking the time to read about me.
Warmest Regards,
Matt
