My name is Michele Maule.

I've been making art for about 10 years. I received a degree in Drawing, Painting, and Print Making from Portland State University in 2005.

The subject of my work often deals with personal ideas and relationships. Everyday objects that represent me or people I know. Recently I've been interested in painting atmosphere and more abstract ideas.

I don't tend to stick to one medium for too long. I love printmaking, illustrating, painting, making books, and using collage. I tend to jump around a bit, but I always end up going back to one or the other.

It can be a little overwhelming sometimes - being interested in so many different mediums - but I never get bored! It might also make my shop a little confusing, so if you have any questions regarding technique, please let me know!

When I'm not working at my day job, or making art, I like vintage shopping, riding my bike, eating good food, and drinking good beer!
