"My emotions are my inspiration. They drive me. There are days I feel purple or green and those then will be the colors I work with that particular day. Also, the loss of a good friend or a family member may inspire me. I then sit in front of my torch, let myself be inspired from above and my thoughts roam freely. It is crazy what can originate from this process. For instance, I learned drawing only through my work with glass beads. I can now interweave the orientation on dots and lines as well asthe movements of both crafts."

Glass artist Michou Pascale Anderson is the daughter of a Jamaican musician and an Italian-French actress. From her earliest childhood she traveled with her parents throughout Europe and accompanied them at her father's performances. Anderson attended school in Switzerland where she lived with her grandmother, who taught her to play the piano and her grandfather, a renowned photographer who trained her to explore the world with camera and lens.
