My name is Karen. Welcome to Midwest Maude. I'm a designer, crafter and collector of vintage housewares and fashion. I adore vintage crafts from the 60s and 70s, bohemian modern style, a little bit of kitsch, and a lot of color.
I live in Eagle Rock, the cutest little neighborhood in Los Angeles, with my husband and three kids.
In my spare time, I scour through vintage craft books, thrift stores, and even a blog or two. Someday I hope to master the art of crochet and crewelwork, and maybe even some quilting.
