About
Mirasol is Spanish for sunflower. It's a metaphor for turning your face toward the sun... and a blend of our Latina roots with one of our favorite locally-grown ingredients, sunflower seed oil.
We are two shy homebodies in love with the mad earthly science of turning essential oils, organic oils and butters, and botanicals into skin care products that elevate the spirits. We grow and wildcraft as many herbal ingredients as possible on our small organic farm in western Wisconsin. Formerly social justice workers, we're dedicated to running our business with attention to the principles of respect, compassion, and fairness.
We've been handmaking soap, salves and lotions for over a decade, and making jams and jellies for as long as we've been able to follow instructions from an elder. Our passion for sustainable agriculture has turned...
