I live in Concord, CA with my wonderful husband (and high school sweetheart) and a 20-pound orange cat. I'm a civil engineer to pay the bills and a crafter/estate sale and thrift store fanatic/home renovator in my spare time. I learned to sew and crochet when I was 5 (thanks Mom!), and taught myself to knit when I was in my early 30's. I crochet left handed and knit right handed. We typically spend our Saturday mornings at yard sales, flea markets, estate sales and thrift stores in an effort to find cool stuff for our house and for the shop. It also keeps us from sleeping in too late. : )
