Hey there,

My name is Katie and I'm the designer for morelle bags. I started morelle while living in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. I didn't have any major plans for it back then, I just loved making things with my sewing machine. My success with Etsy enabled me to quit my job a few months later and make it my full time job!

My purpose with morelle has been from the beginning to offer original, quality handbags. I constantly try to improve my designs and the quality of the materials. I want my bags to not only be sturdy and fashionably but also functional.

All the designs are made by me, Katie. I create whatever comes to mind... I usually get an idea and quickly draw it down! I get inspiration from the city I live in and from everyday situations around me. I like color and I like the idea of a bright, pretty bag standing out in the middle of a busy city.

Last June I moved back to my home in Greece and continue to make my bags here close to family. Morelle now is a team of 5 people all committed to make lovely bags to the best of our ability.
