About

Naanee is my nick name, when my brother was small he couldn't say Lana, so he called me naanee and it stuck. Hence the company name, naanee design co.

I have been "crafting" for as long as I can remember. In elementary school I sold the jewelry I made on consignment at a local store and at flea markets. I have pictures from the 80’s of me standing behind my flea market table , I had a bad home perm and signs hanging from the table saying “ L-designs” in rainbow magic marker bubble letters. I have been making jewelry for my friends for ages and they finally convinced me to start selling my designs after I made all of their wedding jewelry. I would consider my design style to be simple, pretty and elegant. Some of my earrings are designed to wear every day, while others are more extravagant.

I am the busy mom of a baby boy and make my jewelry during his naps….leaving little time for laundry. But then again, I would rather make pretty things than do laundry any day!

I make custom pieces for all of my friends. I have been known to “copy” expensive jewelry designs for much more economical prices. If you would like a custom piece to match a special outfit (or wedding dress!), or a piece that looks designer, but doesn’t break the bank, please feel free to email me.
