About
Creativity is part of my genetic make up as the daughter of an artistic father and an unbelievably nurturing and supportive mother. Growing up I was always drawing, pasting and crafting one thing or another.
I moved to NYC for college and I have never looked back since. I set out in early 2010 with a hot glue gun in one hand and a needle and thread in the other to fashion fun and playful hair accessories. Inspired by my friends, the fashion industry and the city I love, my creative outlet was born. I named Neesie after my mother, Denise. Neesie is her nickname.
Hairbands, barrettes, clips, combs and crowns- Neesie accessories are not for the fashionably timid! Each accessory is one of a kind, made by hand in my NYC home and brought to you with love. I hope you enjoy my vision.
