When I was 25 I met a woman, that had a very strong influence on my life. We started a family and when we had our second child I drew a portrait of her, which she liked and suggested I enter art school to get formal training. At the age of 30 I signed up for classes at the Art Students League. And so my career in art started. Under the tutelage of Robert E. Shultz, the second strongest influence on my career, I studied fine art illustration. I also had the privilege of private training in Landscape Painting with Robert E. Shultz. There were other Professional instructors under which I studied: Jack Faragasso, Robert Beverly Hale, and John Howard Sanden.
Following my first year at the Art Students League...
