Next Door to Heaven is owned by my mom, Teresa, and me, Amy. We have been in business together for over 10 years and love working together.

My mom, Teresa loves old postcards and ephemera and she recreates them into beautiful soldered glass pendants and ornaments. We call these ornaments Postcards from Heaven - tokens of faith, love and friendship. She meticulously colors each old postcard giving them new life and her own artistic touch. Each one has a scripture, blessing, or poem on the back inspired by the postcard.. Each postcard is a work of art and has a unique story to tell.

I make all the burlap pillows, message boards, and bookends. I have fallen in love with the pillows made out of old feed sacks that are all the rage in the flea markets of Paris. Since I do not anticipate traveling to Paris anytime soon I thought I would try my hand at making some myself. Each pillow is an original design but still has that authentic vintage feel that I love so much. I love the raw texture of burlap and it is a perfect canvas. I design and hand cut each stencil so you know each one is a unique and original.

We feel the inspiration for all our designs comes from the Lord and we hope you will be reminded of God’s love for you when you visit our shop.
