I grew up in a remote part of rural Australia, many many miles from the nearest town. I was the eldest in my family, so with a willing crew of tasters, baking was a skill I learnt early, and practised often! I still love baking treats for my friends and family. I also make sweets & cakes for local cafes. Now I make them for you too!
When I discovered that I was gluten-intolerant a few years back, it was kinda fun to relearn all the old recipes, putting a new twist on them - which is why you'll find most of my items on offer are gluten-free (I can make regular versions of everything too, but I like to have stuff around that I know I can enjoy with friends who don't even realise that what they are eating is gluten-free!).
