The Beginning

When I was setting up my first daughter’s nursery more than 9 years ago I wanted something simple, with some pattern, and no characters. The pickings were slim, so I went to work - buying simple gingham and solid bed linens, constructing my own picture mats out of coordinating scrapbook paper, filling the frames with family photos turned black and white at the local print shop, and adding soft touches with handed down pillow shams and curtains.

The Middle

As the years went on I decorated more bedrooms and one more nursery. I also began giving some of my handmade items to friends. I found that the buckets I had decorated worked so well for my daughters I wanted to share them with friends. The compliments kept coming. And, I was having fun!

The End of the Middle

In the Spring of 2009 I was itching for a small business to run, I had been staying home with my girls for quite some time and the business end of my brain was calling for use. Realizing my operation would need to be tiny for now, but able to grow AND really hoping to bring in my love of eco-conscious living oh, buckets was born!

The Big Deal

I now have a business that offers simple, sweet, special items!
And, to boot, all of my packaging and many of my product components are eco-friendly!
