Hello Vintage Lovers,

I loved vintage when vintage wasn't cool (to paraphrase the song). Yes Dear Collectors there was a time when "old" was tossed out. But time has now made the 1960's and 70's vintage.

I am lucky to live in Petaluma, Calif. which has many Victorians of all sizes, bungalows and cottages mixed with ranch-style and modern homes. I am fortunate to live in a home built in 1939 as my favorite period is the late 30's to the late 40's. It even has it's original stove from 1940. And I am so very lucky to own a 1948 Plymouth 4-door sedan which was my only means of transportation when I was working in the 80's and 90's. Now that I am retired, she doesn't get out as much which makes her cranky!

I've collected all manner of stuff since the 1960's and feel it is now time to release my loved ones to you…

The pillows I am selling remind me of my Great Aunt Alice. She had lots of pillows - round ones, square ones, big ones, little ones, fat ones, flat ones and all with texture. As a child they fasinated me as we didn't have such things at our house.

Aunt Alice was my original teacher of "love of old things", "using up what you have" and "always have one bag on hand." I guess she had recycling down early.

Here's to no sharp corners, lovely patina and beauty in design even if it's utilitarian - in other words, Vintage!!!
