About
I am a full time artist keeping all the plates spinning with painting, graphic design and teaching. My long-haired (feline) studio partner, Hairy Potter and I work in a wonderful space in the California Building in the Northeast Arts District of Minneapolis.
I have been painting lots of dresses and garments recently. I have also painted street scenes, restaurants and interiors, still life... and images from travels.
The small sketches and studies I do as a part of my process, I call my “orphan art.” They are paintings looking for good homes. Like foster children, they can’t live with me forever, they need to find a good home for themselves.
