I've been sewing and crafting in all mediums for decades now, but the old needlework patterns have truly captured my heart. My absolute favorite things to make are the old knit and crocheted purses. It was while trying to find instructions for my first one that I discovered the wealth of old patterns out there quietly molding away in books and magazines.

I started by restoring them for my own use, but with the surge of interest in hand crafted items thought I would offer them to crafters everywhere.

Patterns ala Carte is about providing economical patterns while also preserving the history and techniques in danger of being lost.
