Hi there!

My name is Petra, and I am a primarily self taught photographer. I've spent my whole life in Rochester, NY, the birthplace of Kodak, so photography has been with me from the very beginning! My first few years at college I majored in fine art photography and graphic design, but along the way found that I enjoyed photography and art as more of a hobby...that is until now. I have been wanting to share my passion for photography and crafting with others for some time, and I figured, what better way to share than on Etsy!

I craft, sew and, my favorite...crochet! Much of my insperation come from watching my grandmother (whom I call Memere) sew and crochet everything from doll clothes to quilts and afgans while growing up, and in each item that I create, there is a little part of her in there as well. She was also a great photographer (even if she didn't see herself as one) and gave me my very first camera.

Everything you see is handmade by me :) and I also accept custom orders. I am a firm believer in the unique, and I want you to have a product that is as unique as you are!

When I'm not taking pictures or creating things, I spend my time with my loving husband and our family. I also hold a bachelors degree in substance and alcohol abuse counseling and currently work in the mental health field.
