I started large format printing in 1995. At that time I printed reproductions for artists so they could sell their work as signed and numbered reproductions.
In 2000 I partnered with a baby and newborn photographer. We soon found that especially with babies and newborns that we used smaller (5ft x 5ft) floors and backgrounds most of the time and they needed to be light and versatile to work fast changing props around them. Since I was doing large format printing it was a natural to start printing our own floors and backdrops for our photography business. These work so well we thought we would share them with our fellow professional and beginner photographers. We found that especially our 2fer’s, which are 42in x 6ft, work great for a quick change around and photograph beautifully.
