Hello and welcome to Piggy and Bear, my little shop and labour of love! My name is Heather and I live in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

I'm currently a stay at home mom to a 2 and 4 year old, (formerly a television news editor). My kids are my inspiration to create and my shop is named after their well-loved, best friends and stuffies.

I've always been a creative person and sewing has become my latest passion and favorite creative outlet. I love vintage styles and bright, cheerful fabrics.

I have suffered from Rheumatoid Arthritis since I was a teenager, and sewing has really helped keep my joints moving and limber.

My clothes are made with love and care, in my smoke free home...
