Plumbum press is a small letterpress studio located in Sunnyvale, CA. We specialize in printing invitations and custom stationery, although we also make our own greeting cards (when the fancy strikes!). Each piece is printed by hand on one of our century-old Chandler & Price printing presses.

About the name:
Plumbum is the Latin word for lead, which is appropriate considering the use of lead type in traditional letterpress printing. While we don’t typically use lead type in our designs, it’s fun to break out our small collection of lead and wood type for special projects.
