Penny's crafty life started on Etsy making little purses & badges, primarily using felt. I then began drawing my little illustrations on calico and sewing them into purses. This has transitioned into having my illustrations printed on organic cotton, as well as making my own art prints & cards.


Eco-friendly---
Items are made using a combination of new & recycled materials. My recycled materials are gathered in a variety of ways - offcuts or damaged pieces from fabric stores, fabric that's been hidden in closets of family and friends for years, pieces found in op shops & thrift stores, I even sometimes use clothing. My recycled fabrics are all very carefully looked after - I examine each piece to make sure it's not damaged, wash it & iron it.

I use green power for my studio.

All items are now sent in 100% recycled envelopes.

My biggest recycled find? A huge pile of jean legs, leftovers from a vintage/2nd hand store making short shorts for summer.


Practical Designs---
All my pretty bags & purses are designed for day to day use. They're all tough & sturdy, all seams have been double stitched for added durability. You can handwash all the purses (no machine washing please).


Pretty Pictures---
I create artworks that I love, and that I enjoy looking at (and sometimes even laughing at).

My art prints are printed with lovely Canon ink which is guaranteed fade-proof for at least 100 years if kept in good conditions. This means, as with all artwork, please do not put it in direct sunlight or a wet environment.
