WELCOME TO POPPY DESIGNS,

Here you will find a quiet moment in the garden honoring nature and all its beauty, visions of the sacred feminine, and timeless comfortable clothing expressing the beauty, sensuality and grace of every woman.

MY CLOTHING:
My goal as an apparel designer is to create women's clothing that is comfortable, feminine and sensual. I strive to create timeless and simplistic styles that reflect nature and allow our bodies to move freely. Whenever possible I use organic materials and each garment is hand dyed with low impact dyes. Every garment is designed, cut, sewn and dyed by me!

Sizing:
At this time I am offering garments XS through XL. I will also offer custom made garments to fit your individual measurements, but these will take longer than my typical lead time and cannot be returned. However, if there is a flaw or it just needs some minor altering, I am happy to do this for you at not charge. I do ask that you pay for the additional shipping costs.

Fabrics:
Currently I have 4 fabrics

92% Certified Organic Cotton 8% Spandex
This fabric has a 4 way stretch and is a medium weight. It is soft but durable and is great for dresses, skirts and pants. It especially works for fitted styles as it stretches in all directions. I also use this in many of my skirt waistbands as it holds its shape and gives a nice secure fit.

100% Certified Organic Cotton
This is a medium weight soft cotton fabric that some mechanical stretch due to the knit, but is not stretchy like the fabric above due to the lack of spandex. I use this fabric in loose fitting tops and full skirts that don't hug the body.

92% Bamboo 8% Spandex
I realize this fabric is not as environmentally friendly as the organic cottons, but have yet to find another fabric with the luscious soft draping quality it has. It works very well for many of my shirts as it moves and drapes beautifully. It also has much more saturated colors after dying which is a nice contrast to the softer organic cotton hues.

100% Cotton Sherpa
This is a very heavy weight cotton with a jersey smooth finish on one side and a very fluffy brushed fleece side on the other. It is very warm and soft and works good for hoodies, jackets and other cozy garments.

UP-CYCLED GARMENTS:
I also will occasionally offer up-cycled garments which are one of a kind garments made from hand picked lightly used second hand clothing and then carefully and creatively constructed into a new one of a kind Poppy Design.
