Hello and Welcome to Postscripts!

This store opened when Paula decided, as a single mom of three, that a minimum wage job was not going to pay the bills. She started making banners and children's party supplies. Then came the idea of the wood cake stand. She wanted one herself so she had her dad cut one and sold it the first week it was listed. Soon she was recruiting any man that would help her cut wood. Paula saw Tex run a chainsaw and knew he was the one for her (and a lot of other reasons). In the fall of 2011, they were married and business continued to grow.

Now our family of 5 lives in a little house in the woods of Colorado with a black lab named Buster, 3 kittens, and 11 chickens. Tex works part-time as a raft guide in the summer and part-time at the ski resort in the winter. On top of being a full-time mom, this is Paula's job. She loves designing and creating!

We now have 4 part-time employees, including Paula's little sister, Heather, who now runs the party business! Yay!
