Mary P. (in a teensy tiny nutshell):
Once upon a time, I didn't listen to my true self because I was worried about the "shoulds" of life and was afraid to take a risk or two. I was miserable. Now I make hats, fascinators and hair do-dads in a small studio in Lincoln, Nebraska. You're right, It's a sweet job. Oh, and guess what? I am happier than ever.
I live with my man, one tubby cat, two papers that say I have a BFA in studio art and my MA in apparel design.
Things are good.
Oh, and I have an addiction to candy. I love pixie sticks, popcorn and personal triumphs and I do not like the feeling of cotton balls, the word congrats and rude people.
