About

Hi! Great to have you here, thanks for taking an interest in what I do!

I love using recycled bits and pieces in my jewellery to give it an individual twist. My best known range is my quirky Up-Cycled Bottle Cap Jewellery, which I spend my days making in my Belfast studio, incorporating images, charms and beads which I have collected over a number of years from a variety of sources. These include traditional beads from Egypt to handcrafted lampwork beads from Florence amongst others, to images from fancy Italian decoupage papers to postcards found in my local variety market at St Georges in the city centre, to miniature pressed roses. I’ve tried out pretty much every craft I’ve come across and I love to discover new ones. I also enjoy collecting handmade pieces by others to add to my personal mini gallery. My latest obsession is assembling unique charm bracelets overloaded with a selection of beads from my massive collection. I'm also working on a 'Belfast Bunny' range of cards and badges based on 'colourful' and 'polite' versions of the local Northern Irish dialect :)

When I'm not crafting I'm either teaching Art to teenagers, dancing salsa, reading, tending my tiny 2x5ft garden, baking, watching TV online or eating sushi.
