Purple Urchin is a small handmade soap business business that was started by two friends (Rebecca & Sarah) back in February 2006. We started out just making vegetable based cold-process handmade soap, but after three years we started expanding to include liquid castile soap handmade from scratch, bath bombs, body butters, scrubs and more. We never use pre-made bases in our products, and enjoy thoroughly researching ingredients and experimenting with recipes. We believe in being honest about what goes into our products and try to provide updated information about the safety of the ingredients we use. We love the creativity involved in creating products and designing labels. They're like little works of art!
