I've been a vegetarian since 2005 and a vegan since 2008. I've always loved being in the kitchen as long as I can remember and baking has been my great passion for many years. Once I became a vegan, it became my mission to "vegan-ize" all my favorite desserts to perfection. I truly don't believe being vegan is about giving anything up, certainly not dessert!
Besides baking, I love riding my red 1960 schwinn cruiser, which has big newsboy-style baskets on the back. It's made more grocery store trips than I can count, and was my dad's when he was a kid, so it's got a little family history.
