My mother taught me to crochet Granny Squares when I was a child; I made her the most hideous pastel Granny Square scarf for Christmas one year. I rediscovered my love for crochet many years later while in college--it gives me something to do while on the bus or light rail. I put down my crochet for a year after getting married and have taken up my hook once again with the goal of saving toward a house down payment.

My main randomKreations are themed C'thulhus and Beholders. Each one takes between four and six hours to put together depending on complexity.

In addition to crochet, I dabble in scrapbooking as well as pretending to sew. I am inspired by nerd, geek, and gamer culture.
