About
Hello there, I'm Debbie I first discovered the excitment and beauty of using stained glass as a medium over 10 years ago, when I attended a local course to learn tradional leaded stained glass techniques and copperfoiling.
My inspiration ranges from Gaudi and Rennie McKintosh, particularly his wife and her group of friends call the 'Glasgow Girls' to Hunderwasser and Klimt.
Much of my work is organic and incorporates mix-media, especially found elements, including antique buttons and beads, natural objects such as beach washed glass found on my local beach or on my sailing adventures and pieces of agate. I also have a kiln I am starting to experiment with and often incorporate some of my fused work.
