About

My daughter Eleanor May was the inspiration for this venture into sewing for babies. Her toes were bare more often than not as she constantly kicked off her socks. And it was those toes that urged me to make some booties that would stay on! And so I fiddled with fabric and tinkered with patterns until I had created a baby bootie that was more likely to stay on than fall off. But I couldn't stop there. I had found a hobby at last, and I was enjoying myself. And so this business was born, feeding my creativity, filling up free time, and clothing my Ella's Toes!
