I started making cards many years ago. I found it easier to say what I wanted to with a picture rather than in words. I love illustrating things that are common to many people but are in themselves quite special and meaningful like, having a coffee with a friend, reading in a comfy chair, walking the dog, gardening or having a picnic. I also like doing pictures that come in a series like a set of four that I have called "Princesses wear glasses too". In this set I have drawn a fairy, princess, mermaid and movie star each wearing glasses.

I live in Cambridge, a beautiful city that really feels more like a village. I share a cosy terraced house with my husband, our two daughters and our very funny dog, Milligan. Most of my inspiration comes from them, my friends and family who all make appearances in my drawings. I hope you enjoy them and find happy moments you recognize...
