Welcome to our shop. My name is John and my partner is Judy. We live in a small cabin in the woods on Whidbey Island in the Puget Sound in Washington State. Our home is quite rustic, and that influences the products we make.

We spend a lot of time on our local beaches with our dog Emma. That is where a lot of ideas come from. Fishing is also a large part of my life, which also influences our products.

I have made handmade gifts for family and friends for 20+ years. As an out of work contractor with a lot of time on my hands, I decided to see if I could take my crafting to a more serious level. I formed Roy Road Fish Company (RRFC). It had been a dream of mine for a number of years, but I thought it would happen later in life, when I retired. How the world changes!

A good part of my products start with fish in mind. Other things I see, and think "Wow!! If I made something like that and added a rustic look, I bet it might sell."

In my shop, you'll find items for the outdoors, garden, indoor decor, and let's not forget, the famous "Hummingbird Hat!"
