My name is Sandy and I am a self taught crafter. I tend to be one of those people that sees something and says, “I think I can make that!” I am willing to try different crafts if it is something that interests me. I especially enjoy soap making, knitting and jewelry making. I am a New Englander at heart, born and raised in Massachusetts until I went away to college, my young adulthood I spent in New Hampshire and for the last 10 years I have been living in Connecticut. I run a pet sitting business and in between taking care of my customer’s animals…I craft. I have been making soaps for about 3 years now. I make cold process soaps as well as “melt and pour” soaps. I love the mixing of the ingredients and the process of making soap from scratch using the cold process method. But I love the artistic details of doing the “melt and pour” soaps. When I am not making soap or taking care of animals, I am either knitting or dabbling...
