Oh, hello, there!
My name is Tina Jett. Totally self-taught outside of grade school and high school art classes, my work reflects the things I am most interested in: words, fonts, letters, everyday objects, color, pattern, and simple pleasures. I try to capture what we tend to overlook or take for granted. Hidden messages that are all around us... ones that most people are in too much of a hurry to notice.
I think it's important that we learn to use all of our senses. I'm one of those people that literally stops to smell the roses, has to touch things I walk by that have texture, listens more than I talk, stops in my tracks when something smells awesome, and loves the taste of good food made with passion. My husband describes me to people by saying "It's like she lives in a coloring book." Hellz yeah...
