Linda Schulte's Profile
I grew up in a family of German emigrant ancestry on a small family farm near the James River. We raised most of our own food, milked cows by hand, made butter, cheese, baked bread and goodies and pulled countless weeds in the garden. Not a bad way to grow up, that’s for sure.
I attended country school until reaching 7th grade and was the only student in my grade throughout. As the other grades had two, and one even three, members I was the odd one out. lol
During one recess while the other paired-by-grade students went outside to chat and play, I discovered an illustrated text of Robin Hood amongst the books left by the bookmobile in early 4th grade. I have been lost in books ever since and have found them to be better friends than most anything else.
There is nothing like a good book! I found out early...
