About

Fishing for lobsters is what I started out doing and then I went to Alaska in the 1980's to fish for King Crab in Dutch Harbor. I met an old man living there and I traded him six steaks and a quart of whiskey for an anvil.I knew I wanted to work in metal. My wife and I moved back to New England and settled in Maine where I continued to fish for awhile and learned how to take metal and create something with it.
We now have been creating for 25 years and the fishing industry has just about disappeared . I create wonderful items for clients and stores around the country. I feel you must follow your desires and create a life out of it even if it means making sacrifices. I believe in hard work and blacksmithing and being a metal artists is that but when a customer really likes what he sees and enjoys the craft I get great pleasure from this. God bless America!
