I also have a web site at sjasdesigns.com.

I have been a bead maker since 1991, pretty much selling beads since I started making them! I went to the Rhode Island School of Design and graduated in 1996 with a degree in glass. I am a self supporting artist and craftsperson, occasional teacher, living on the beautiful Columbia River in Oregon. You can find images of my beads in several books and magazines including 1000 Glass Beads from Lark Books.

My beads are kiln annealed, and every single one is made by me. I don't use molds at all, even on the leaf beads, I sculpt with tweezers so each bead is different. Anything else you need to know just ask!

In addition to beads, I also make art with glass. Have a look at my "art" page on the website sjasdesigns.com to see my glass drawings and sculptures. I cast glass and incorporate lampworked parts into pate de verre, fused work. The drawings are lampworked glass lines that are fused onto glass sheet.

Check out my other store, the Glass Bouquet, where you will find jewelry that I make with my beads, plus hand embroidered bags made by me!

I also have an account called EtAlieae where, one day, I will sell my glass art.
