Sheila's Profile
About
*** I was honored to be picked as one of the top 10 "Most Lovable Handmade Dolls" on Etsy list for 2011, by ohdeedoh.com, a popular design, and children website.
They credited my talent as a doll maker. I also credit the talented pattern makers
Hillary Lang of www.WeeWonderfuls.com and Shelly of gingermelon.etsy.com.****
My grandmother taught me to sew when I was a little girl. She gave me her scrap material to play with, and I would sew them together to make little books or doll clothes. She was my first sewing teacher, and I now realize just how valuable learning this skill was. It is not a craft that everyone has an opportunity to learn one on one.
I am constantly reading books and learning new techniques to improve my skills as a seamstress.
Many times I use re-purposed materials like...
