My parents were both talented artists, and I have had the creative bug all my life. I really found my niche in fiber art. I started off with traditional quilting, then I discovered batiks and quickly decided that
tradition went out the window. I am happiest creating purses, abstract art with embellishments of beads, yarn, paper,metal or whatever comes to mind. I have just discovered the joy of polymer clay and have started a jewelry line, soon to be seen on etsy. My dream is to be able to make my living through my art, but that's all our hopes and dreams, isn't it? I have such a pull to be in my little studio, as messy as it is! I thank God He has given me this gift, I treasure it every day.
I live on the Canadian prairies with my supportive husband and son. They put up with finding thread in the strangest of places-in the shower, in a cup of coffee, plastered all over the back of jackets etc. God...
