About

I cannot remember a time that I didn't create! I started at an early age drawing, making doll clothes, stuffed animals for bazaars, sewing clothes, pottery, ceramics, sculpting, painting, woodworking, tole painting, quilting, embroidery, stained glass and fused glass. While exploring my Mohawk heritage I learned how to do Iroquois raised (embossed)beadwork, loomed beadwork, and used leather to make moccasins.

I guess my 'melting' experiences first started a long time ago when I used to melt my brothers' old 78's over cans in boiling water to make bowls! (Sorry John and Larry!) I am thankful to have a family that knows I have a need to create with my hands, and all the more so since my health has affected my ability to work outside the home.(there went my librarian job) I have rarely sold my work before.(given away lots!!)

It's a humbling experience for me when people appreciate my work, and is inspiring.

Thank you for looking in my little corner
