Sigh Co. Graphics is Gwen and Brian Callahan. We have been residents of the French Quarter in New Orleans, LA since 2002. In June 2010, we decided it was time for a change and moved to Portland, OR.

We are both literature majors with backgrounds in the visual arts and a love of the macabre. When we moved to New Orleans in 2002, we were looking for a way to pour our creative efforts into something unique, long lasting, and wearable. There are tons of t-shirts out there but nothing that really spoke to us and our particular sensibilities. So, we decided to try our hand at creating t-shirt designs inspired by the things that we were interested in and loved.

Rather than follow the trend of making shirts with silly/snarky/clever sayings on them, we built our company on a strong design esthetic. Whether they be historical, literary, horror, pagan, or HP Lovecraft inspired, all of our designs have a story behind them, and many represent hours of research to make sure that what we are depicting is accurate. All of our designs are hand printed on high quality shirts to ensure that we give you a product that you can wear and enjoy for a long time.

In an effort to be kind to the environment, in 2004, we switched over to using all odorless, soy-based chemicals that are drain safe and biodegradable. (Franmar chemicals makes some awesome stuff!)

We've gone from printing shirts in our bathroom on a home-made press to printing them in a dedicated space, but the spirit remains the same.
