I am a jewelry designer who is also very hands on in the production process. I incorporate my art background with my experience of over 15 years working in the jewelry industry. I find inspiration in what makes me happy and that is the pets in my life. My beloved dog Bear, a senior pug who came in to my life about 13 years ago is the major influence of my work, even to this day. Bear slept at my desk for many years as I designed and worked on pieces. When I needed to come up with a name for my company, it was clear it should be named after Bear and his favorite pastime. That is how The Sleeping Bear Company came about.
I delight in seeing people enjoying wearing my designs. I put my heart and soul into all of my work and I hope it shows!
