I am a stay-at-home Mamma, a runner, and a self-taught artist. I have always wanted to create soft toys. Willow, my 5 year old little girl, has inspired me to make original things. I am proud to announce the arrival of my second born, Athena, born 11.28.11. Crafting is also my vain attempt to outnumber and extinguish the amount of plastic, soulless toys that clutter up my home.
Currently I am absolutely obsessed with making seahorses. Eventually I will venture onward to different creatures..
I hope one of my seahorses can bring happiness and delight to someone else, as they do to my own little girl.

All of my work is my own original design and part hand part machine sewn, with love, care, and time. I mostly use recycled materials, but sometimes pick up new fabric treasures found in the fabric remnant bin. I have trouble parting with my creations! Our home is kept meticulously clean and smoke-free. We have 3 healthy, indoor cats who don't bother with the toys I make. All cloth materials have been prewashed with detergent that I make myself using borax, washing soda, vinegar, baking soda, and castile soap.
