I love the outdoors, exquisite food, and beautiful things. During the growing season here it the N C High Country, I grow organic vegetables and cut flowers for the local market. I also focus on growing wreath materials. All of my materials are either grown or gathered by yours truly.
Coming from a long and interesting line of artists, pioneers, and naturalists, I guess I just can’t help myself. I take cues from all visual experiences and combine them in natural, sustainable wreaths. Whenever need extra help is needed, local Appalachian mothers work alongside me. .
I have been a landscape/ garden designer for 15 years. I would prefer to be outside, dirty, covered in pine sap, and having a ball being creative with all the natural materials Mother Nature can provide..
Solidago is Latin for Goldenrod. My farm and design work are Goldenrod Gardens.
