I live in the country outside a small town in south Alabama. I have been married for 28 years and have 3 children and 3 grandchildren. My grandchildren are all boys. I'm still hoping for a granddaughter some day.

I have been sewing since I was 10 years old. My mother taught me the basics and then I learned more on my own. I am the only one of four siblings that wanted to learn to sew. I have always wanted to work from home doing sewing and crafts. I have learned other crafts over the years and hope to put them in use soon. I try to make a quality product that I would not be ashamed to wear myself and that would please someone else if they wore it. I might be considered obsessive/compulsive in that regard. I want things to be right, not just "good enough".
