About

Hi. I am Sandy Glidden, a photographer, mixed media artist, poet, photojournalist, and of late, archaeologist. I live for the sea, the rivers, the fields, the earth, for life in all its natural forms. I continue to photograph for the peace and happiness it brings me!

I grew up in a rural area beside a large river on the Acadian Peninsula where the ocean was very close. The rush of river and the crash of waves will always remain in my blood. Bluets
dream morning, pungent with blueberries, hay
snippets of crickets, dry clicks, overtures of wind
frothy wet webbings on the grass

difficult life often enough
searching for comfort
a warm earth embrace
ethereal aid, a bee’s kiss

screen of fir trees blurring
sweating through the hours
raking time.
